Dear adorably nerdy guy from the library,

I'd like to thank you for being so delightfully geeky. I was touched by the fact that, out of all of the empty computers in the area, you chose to sit at the one directly beside me. You made me feel special in a way that a nerd hasn't made me feel special in years. Here's just a little helpful hint for the future. Next time you are sitting next to a girl, DON'T STARE AT HER FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. It's kind of creepy. If you want to talk to me, just say something. I won't bite. I am aware that you may have been scared to say something to me because for the most part, I was having a pretty interesting coversation with myself, but you could have waited for a lull in the coversation and then made your move. But it's okay that you didn't. You wouldn't be a true nerd if you had. In conclusion, I think you are a cute, adorable nerd and there's nothing wrong with that. Go on with your NERDY SELF.

A nerd lover from way back,
Emily

p.s. You really outdid your nerdy self right before I left the library. You may think that I didn't notice, but I did. When I bent down to begin getting my stuff ready to go, you SNIFFED MY HAIR. You. sniffed. my. hair. I hope it was as good for you as it was for me.

p.p.s. NERDS ROCK!
