Kinda want to call him an asshole, but I've said worse

I guess I probably shouldn't take offense when the guy I have only gone a few dates with puts up an away message that says "Crap. It's almost Valentine's Day and I forgot to get a girlfriend." I guess I won't hate him because I hardly ever talk about him, hardly ever see him, and call a guy in Oklahoma City my future husband. But still...
